Produce-loving snake manages to hitch a ride in grocery store cart

A customer at an upstate New York Wegmans was stunned to find that a snake had slithered into her shopping cart while she was picking out produce with her daughter.
Laura Walitsky posted on Facebook about the bizarre Monday night encounter at the Rochester chain grocery store in the suburb of Pittsford.
“So I was at Pittsford Wegmans this evening around 6:30ish. Picked out some broccoli, some grapes, peaches, I was choosing my plums when AllyRose says, ‘Uh Mom, there’s a snake on the cart,’” Walitsky posted.
